The Dingle Gate Holiday Hostel is nestled in the hills of Annascaul and Inch which form the gateway to the Dingle Peninsula. The hostel has welcoming atmosphere and has large landscaped gardens that visitors can enjoy all year round.
The hostel is spacious and boasts a large games room that has a kitchen attached, making this social space ideal for large groups and popular with visitors. The games room has a pool table and table tennis, with space to cater for up to 48 people. The main building also a kitchen and TV room, perfect for lounging in and relaxing after a day of surfing, fishing, hiking or sightseeing. The hostel has twelve cosy rooms, eight of which are en-suite. We cater for groups, families and individuals.

Dingle Peninsula Hostel Accommodation
We have a selection of different rooms. There are mixed Dorms ranging from 4-6 beds. There are private rooms ensuite available in single, twin, double or family rooms.
The hostel itself has a large kitchen and tv room. We also have limited disabled access. 
There is also ample space for the more adventuress who wish to camp out. Male and female toilets and showers for those in the dorms and camping.

Fishing
The Dingle Gate is perfectly situated for both sea fishing and fresh water fishing. We are just 15mins from Inch beach, which is excellent for Bass, Flounder and Thorn Back Ray amongst others.
Annascaul lake and rivers are quite good for salmon, sea trout and artic char. All around the peninsula there are great spot’s for all sort’s of fishing, congar eels, bass and many more. We can also arrange deep sea fishing trips, must be pre booked. We can supply bait and tackle so you can travel light.

The hostel is also perfectly situated for walking. There are a number of different walks around the village of Annscaul and Inch. Ranging from easy walks for all the family along the coast and beaches to the more difficult walks up the mountains for the more experienced walkers. Surfing In West Kerry
If you are mad about the sea then this is definitely the place for you to be. Inch beach is just a 10 minute drive from the hostel. The beach is renowned for it’s waves which come in straight off the atlantic, wave after wave and all this surrounded by breath taking scenery. There is something to do for everyone on the Dingle Penninsula. You can go horse riding through the hills and mountains, or scuba diving in the depths of the Atlantic. You can bring the gang dolphin watching or just relax on the secluded beach. The village of Annascaul itself has 8 pubs, one of which was the home of the famous Antarctic explorer Tom Crean. Another famous pub is Dan Foley’s an old drinking haunt of singer Christy Moore.
